Hibberdene Academy boasts a talented gr 7 class

Pupils are proud to finally be able to wear the full school uniform.

Hibberdene Academy’s gr 7 class recently enjoyed a wonderful arts and culture lesson to research St Valentine and the origins of the day. Arts and culture is an important subject at the academy for grades RR to 9. Thereafter pupils can choose visual art as a subject. Pupils designed wonderful cards for loved ones.

Gr 7 pupils are proud to finally be able to wear the full school uniform comprising trousers, black blazers and the identifiable red tie with the delightful Natal robin as the school emblem. It is an exciting move for them, moving from the junior uniform to the high school one.

Furthermore, they are particularly talented with superb singing voices and dance moves. Iyana Mthembu is a highly talented musician in her own right who plays the recorder and piano. They all enjoy acting and look forward to this year’s school concert where they can show off these talents.
