Creston athletes Salma Bejia and Lia Rothman took part in the 1200m races at the CMC athletics trials last Tuesday. Selma won by at least 30m and Lia placed second. Both advance to the Ugu District Trials as part of the Sayidi team against Scottburgh and Umzumbe districts.

Swimmer Hannah Scott won three gold, two silver and two bronze medals and Ava Mae Lilje scooped one gold, one bronze and placed fifth in the 100m breaststroke at the Level 2 Provincial Championship at Kings Park.
Gemma Allchin, George Annandale, Milla Drakopoulos, Erin Heydricks, Olivia Hulley and Leah Scott will represent Ugu District at the KZN Schools’ Aquatics Provincial Trials at Kings Park this Saturday (24th).
Tenor Pierre van der Westhuizen will perform with Creston choirs on March 1 at 2.30pm.
The ‘Mother and Daughter Tea’ takes place on March 3 at 2.30pm. Tickets for both events are available at the payments office.
