Activities at Port Shepstone Islamic School are gaining momentum. The school collected 3 250 litres of water for the ‘Water for Cape Town’ campaign, in conjunction with Pam Golding Properties and Gift of the Givers. Pupils donated generously and experienced the gifts of sharing and gratitude.

The school hall was abuzz with the annual Quraan recital programme last Wednesday. Pupils collectively recited the Holy Quraan from cover to cover and received gifts of dates, Zamzam Well water from Mecca and stationery. Moulana Zubeir Moolla addressed pupils and staff with inspiring educational advice and discussed the value and importance of teachers.
Moulana Imtiaz Khathrada from Verulam visited the school last Friday morning to deliver a wonderful talk that focused on the difficult period of adolescence.
