Southcity junior primary’s interhouse gala was a day full of fun, laughter and team spirit! Every child had the chance to show their ability, making teachers and parents so proud. Congratulations to Asher for taking home the trophy as the 2018 overall winner. Well done to Judah for winning the Spirit trophy.

Five college pupils and five prep pupils competed in the KZN schools’ trials gala last weekend. Medalists were Suné de Wit, silver for 50m, 100m and 200m breaststroke events; Jeandre Joubert bronze for 200m breaststroke, silver for 200m freestyle and gold for 400m freestyle. Well done to all swimmers selected for the Ugu team.
Night series: 1st team rugby beat Creston 7-0, 1st girls’ hockey beat Creston 1-0 and 1st netball lost to Creston. This places Southcity boys second in the pool and the 1st hockey girls in first place in the pool. Well done to all.
