Izotsha Primary swimmer Alex strikes gold

Guy Henderson placed second at the Lake Eland Powasol Xtreme Enduro 85cc class last weekend.

Izotsha Primary hosted a ‘High School Fair’ that exhibited 18 different high schools. It was a great success and exceptionally well supported by South Coast pupils and parents.

Byron Winrow placed first in the 100m and second in the 200m sprints at the recent Ugu athletics meeting.

The U11A cricket team won by 9 wickets against Suid-Natal, with excellent bowling from Matthew Borchers who took three wickets in one over. The U11B team won by 9 runs with Kylan Anderson taking 3 wickets. The U13A team won its match with the ‘pick of the bowlers’ Callam Currin taking four wickets for 8 runs in three overs. The U13B team won its match.

Guy Henderson took part in the Lake Eland Powasol Xtreme Enduro 85cc class last weekend and placed second.

A number of pupils were selected for the Ugu swimming team and attended the KZN swimming trials in Durban.

The school is extremely proud of Alex Labuschagne who received three gold and one silver medal.
