Hlanganani Preparatory School’s girls’ U12 volleyball team played its first tournament last Saturday. Coach Precious Cele took the team to the finals against Marburg Primary, who are congratulated for winning. The team played very well and placed second.

Lizanne Nair of the Norwegian Settlers’ Church has volunteered to select and train a choir group and she is currently in the selection process. The school thanks her for this sterling service.
Last Wednesday was a terribly sad day at school when pupils, staff members and family representatives of Lebotho Gugushe gathered for a short memorial service.
Lebotho died on February 21. The school extends sincere condolences to the family.
