Hlanganani Prep pupils find Playball fun

This a worldwide sport and movement programme that creates an opportunity for children to develop, not only on the sports field but in overall learning.

The first open day for parents was held at school on Saturday, March 17 and despite the inclement weather, the meeting was well attended with almost 150 parents turning up.

The principal, Elaine Galanakis presented the budget to the parents and addressed issues such as late-coming, homework and uniforms. Building and renovation projects were highlighted and the chairman of the trust addressed parents about the school’s language policy. Parents visited classes to view pupils’ work after the meeting.

The swimming programme for all grades ended last week.

Playball is presented at Hlanganani on a Wednesday afternoon for grade R to grade 2.
