Creston girls Olivia Hulley and Anela Vundla (U13), Tayla Tarr, Kayla Niemandt, Milla Drakopoulos and Salma Bejia (U12) made the Ogwini netball team and go forward to the Sayidi district trials.
Salma Bejia (gr 6) and Nabil Bejia (gr 3) competed at the SA Biathlon Nationals in Pretoria recently. Salma placed 15 out of 75 athletes overall, putting her in the top twenty percent on her first attempt. Nabil placed 20th overall (out of 75 athletes) in the U10 category.
Milla Drakopoulos (gr 6) won six gold and one silver medal at the SA Level Three Regional Gala.
Greg Botha (gr 7) captained the South Coast Warriors U13 side at the Glenwood Rugby Festival and was chosen for the Glenwood Invitational U13 rugby team tour to the UK in December.
Samantha Bredell (gr 10) entered the ‘World of Dance SA’ in Durban and made it through to the next round in Johannesburg in May.
Waheed Amanjee (gr 11) will represent the African Continent at a science convention in Turkey later this year.
