Port Shepstone Senior Primary recognises top readers

The school has embarked on an internal gr 6 competition to identify the top three spellers.

It’s business as usual at Port Shepstone Senior Primary, with the extramural programme commencing this week. Remedial lessons have also been offered to support pupils in mathematics. Parents whose children have been identified are reminded to encourage their children to attend these important after-school lessons.

The school recently held a reading competition as part of Library Awareness Week. Congratulations to the top achievers in each grade, namely Brady-Ann Pillay (gr 4), Siphesihle Mqadi (gr 5), Ameera Adam (gr 6) and Romeshni Chetty (gr 7).

The Department of Education has once again initiated a Spelling-Bee Competition and the school has embarked on an internal gr 6 competition to identify the top three spellers for the circuit competition.
