Azalea triumphs at Jai Hind

Jai Hind’s annual interhouse athletics day was a resounding success. Freed from the classroom, the pupils’ cheering and clapping resonated throughout as they urged their peers on in various races.

Azalea House was unstoppable and emerged victorious. In second place was Protea, followed by Jasmine and Zinnia. Winners were awarded medals and all pupils were treated to a doughnut and a cooldrink.

The school took part in PSSP’s Winter Sports Day. Players gave a good account of themselves and gained valuable experience by competing against other schools in volleyball, netball and soccer.

Jai Hind is very proud of the girls’ U13 volleyball team that represented Ugu at the district selections held at the Ugu Sports and Leisure Centre. The girls will now compete in the interdistrict round of selections and will go up against the team from Harry Gwala on June 2.
