Creston puts the icing on the cake

College phase consumer studies and cooking club pupils had a visit from Knightsbridge PME School of Cake Decorating and Confectionery.

Creston Senior Primary pupils went on an excursion to uShaka Marine World last week and learnt about animal biodiversity and classification. It was a fun trip and a very good way to revise for upcoming tests and exams.

College phase consumer studies and cooking club pupils had a visit from Knightsbridge PME School of Cake Decorating and Confectionery and were taught how to decorate cakes using gum paste.

They were also given kits to make creative flowers, roses and crowns for cupcakes and cakes.

The hockey girls’ first team won 2-0 against Kuswag recently. The U16 boys drew 0-0 against Kingsway and Jonathan Crossman emerged man of the match.

The hockey boys’ first team won 4-0 against Kingsway and finished the season unbeaten. Dominic de Bruin took man of the match.
