Six teams of Southcity Junior Primary boys’ soccer and girls’ hockey teams took part in Port Edward Primary’s sports day last week. The girls’ hockey teams played three matches each and the boys’ soccer teams four matches each. Pupils had great fun and all games were played in good spirit.
Senior Primary also had fixtures against Port Edward last week. The U11 hockey girls lost 0-3, U13 hockey boys won 1-0, U11 netball girls lost 0-8, U11 rugby boys won 55-0 and the U13 netball team won 11-3.
Congratulations to Hannah Nero for being selected for the KZN Hockey Coastals U18B-side (non-travelling reserve for U18A-side) and Sarah-Joy Pringle was selected as non-travelling reserve for the KZN coastals U16B Side.
Congratulations to the 11 boys who have been selected for the KZN Coastals ‘D’ hockey (Country Districts) teams. Well done to all.
