Margate Primary’s second term exams are now over and results are being collated. Gr 6 was tasked with preparing a travel brochure to promote South Africa.

Requirements were that the brochure had to show originality (with special emphasis on planning), order, sequencing and language structure. Extra marks were awarded for appearance and neatness.
The recent winter sports day held at Suid-Natal Primary was thoroughly enjoyed by all pupils who played hard and showed good sportsmanship throughout the day.
Several pupils took part in the Ugu Circuit Level Mental Maths competition and Luphawu Pakade, Neo Mnikathi and Ayanda Mdleko were selected to take part in the district level round.
