Talent show adds entertainment to Kingsway AFM/AGS Church fund-raiser

Old talents were dusted off and presented to appreciative applause.

Hosting a church youth fund-raiser is probably one of the largest kinds of faith-based fund-raising initiatives.

Whether it is for religious school programmes, Sunday school, or investing in church programmes targeted towards collaboration and bonding among youth groups, church youth fund-raisers do not need to be difficult.

Ask the members of the Kingsway AFM/AGS Church in Oslo Beach and they will agree. Their Youth Day Talent Extravaganza last Saturday was nothing short of spectacular!

Friends, neighbours, grandmas, grandpas and all of the children, dusted off an old talent that they hadn’t shared in a while and wowed an appreciative audience at the church.

With a wide range of entertainment, stalls, fun and games, a large number of visitors took part in the fun. From telling a joke, singing a song to dancing, juggling or performing a skit, no experience was necessary! And, yes, silliness was encouraged!
