Swap your old Sassa card – where and when
The old cards expire on September 30, 2018.
The South African Social Security Agency together with the Post Office South Africa will be doing Sassa card swaps at the Margate Community Hall on Thursday, July 26.

According to Sassa, beneficiaries will be able to swap their cards on the day from 9am till 4pm.
The card swap initiative is aimed at getting beneficiaries to migrate from their old Sassa cards to the new post office cards after Sassa’s contract with the Cash Paymaster Service came to an end.
The old Sassa card is also part of the CPS contract and is being phased out. The cards expire on September 30, 2018.
