But addictions come in many different shapes and forms.

Technology, food, pornography, alcohol, gambling and drugs can all exert their hold over one’s life.

It will be facilitated by the highly qualified outreach team and board members of Harmony Retreat from Greytown.

For more information, please contact Gill at gill@nsc.za.org.

Some of the topics that will be covered include: types of addictions and recognising the symptoms, positive parenting and drug proofing your family, co-dependency and boundaries, and sources of help for the addict and the loved ones of addicts.

You will also have an opportunity to hear personal stories from those who are in recovery, and from family members who are affected by their loved one’s addiction and how they deal with it.
