JUST IN: Rubber duck rescued off Sandspit in Port Shepstone

An early morning trip out to sea ended in a tumble.

A ski-boat with three people on board capsized in the surf while trying to launch from Sandspit in Port Shepstone earlier this morning.

ALSO READ: Boat capsizes at Umkomaas – one dead

According to the skipper, the engine cut off during the launch and a huge wave overturned the vessel.

Besides a few cut and bruises, the three escaped unharmed.
