RNM suppliers and contractors invited to attend meeting

All suppliers to Ray Nkonyeni Municipality are encouraged to attend a suppliers’ engagement meeting at the Port Shepstone Civic Centre this Friday, August 3 at 9am.

According to RNM municipal manager Max Mbili, the agenda will include the following:

• Processes before a tender is advertised until it is awarded;
• Common errors made by bidders in open tenders;
• Municipal considerations in drafting user-friendly conditions/functionality of tenders;
• Critical elements of amended supply chain policies and its implications;
• Business / contractor development programmes as well as the RNM / Absa Bank Enterprise Development Agreement.
