Jai Hind Primary explores global warming

It is hoped that this lesson created awareness and made an impact.

Jai Hind Primary’s gr 7 pupils hosted a very well coordinated, successful market day last week. The initiative was aligned to their EMS ( Economic and Management Sciences) curriculum.

A wide range of products was on display for eager ‘shoppers’ to purchase. Food, toys, cool drinks, ice cream and stationery proved to be very good business for stallholders. The face-painting and make-up stalls were also extremely popular.

Retired teacher Mahomed Khamissa is thanked for his hard work in planning and preparing pupils for the market day.

Excited foundation phase pupils were entralled by ‘Puppet World’ and its friendly puppets. Through an interactive, highly entertaining puppet show, global warming, plastic and waste pollution of the oceans and environment was highlighted. It is hoped that this lesson created awareness and made an impact.
