Soft drink company donates food parcels to Albersville children’s home

Coca-Cola district manager for the KZN South, Silindile Buthelezi, said they were pleased to be able to give groceries to such a neat and well-managed centre.

IT was a joyous moment for all children living at Ziphakamise Emseni Child and Youth Care Centre as they were visited by the Coca-Cola company’s managers and staff last Thursday. This delegation donated food parcels, juice and soft drinks to the children at the centre in Albersville, Port Shepstone.

Coca-Cola district manager for the KZN South, Silindile Buthelezi, said they were pleased to be able to give groceries to such a neat and well-managed centre.

“Our officials visited this centre and saw the good work it’s doing with the children. They spoke to its CEO, Rev Lulu Bodla, who told them what was needed. We then raised funds and bought what was needed,” she said.

Receiving the donation, Ziphakamise Emseni Child and Youth Care Centre CEO, Rev Bodla, said they were most thankful for the donation.

The Coca-Cola company team is pleased to watch the children of Ziphakamise Emseni Child and Youth Care Centre dancing and playing happily, this after they donated much-needed food parcels to the centre last Thursday. They are (from left) Petro-Mari Malherbe, Kisten Joseph, Madrie Bergh, Gan Gounder and Kiran Nandalal.

“So, to you young children, you must thank God for what He has done for you.. More blessed are those who give than those who receive,” he said.
