Izotsha Primary rugby boys Callam Currin, Byron Winrow and Kane Plaskett-Burne were recently selected for the Sharks Youth Rugby Club (formerly known as ‘The Duikers’). They will play at a tournament in Durban during the October holidays.

The senior A soccer boys took part in an exciting soccer tournament at Senior Primary last Saturday. The team came out tops in group B and made the
semi-final, but were defeated 2-0 by the Naidoo Memorial Team. Tristan Caple scored two goals and Gugulethu Ngubane and Lathitha Jacobs each scored one.
The recent speech and drama festival went extremely well and class and individual items were presented flawlessly.
Foundation phase hosted a ‘Grandparents Day’ last Wednesday with a speech and drama evening to show off their talents.
Intermediate and senior phase pupils are looking forward to the interhouse athletics day tomorrow (Friday).
The school recently acquired a welcome new pedestrian entrance.
