RA Engar Primary held a fund-raising fun day recently during which excited pupils enjoyed activities like jumping castles, face splashing, fishing, colour hairsprays and face-painting.

The disco proved popular with seniors, but the highlight of the programme was the dance marathon.
An appeal was made to parents and guardians to assist by sponsoring pupils. Four pupils were rewarded for collecting the highest amounts and completing the most sponsor cards.
In top position was Mohammed Osman, who completed a whopping 120 cards. Junalin Moodley came second, Atira Harripersad third and Hailey Michael fourth.
The much-needed funds will be used to upgrade and convert the assembly area into a school hall.
