Southcity Christian School’s finalists for the Junior Primary ‘Spelling Bee’ took to the stage bravely to show off their talents to teachers and parents last Thursday. Entrants did everyone proud and grade winners Taio Edwards (gr 1), Thandolethu Sililo (gr 2) and Migcobo Mbende (gr 3) are congratulated for their sterling performances.

The first team boys played against Willowfontein High in the second round of ‘Top 32 Soccer’ last weekend. During the last few minutes of the game, Nhlonipho Luthuli scored for Southcity, bringing the score to 1-1. After the penalty shoot-out, Southcity won 4-1. The semi-finals will be held at the school this Saturday, September 22.
