Mr Chetty says “The initiative was a partnership between private sponsors, the Department of Education and Marburg Secondary. It is a cohesive and strategic cooperation that highlights the importance of stakeholder involvement, to reap benefits for the community and businesses. Education remains the sole focus here, as ultimately this project ensures uninterrupted education throughout the academic year.”
The school’s recycling expert, Marlene Naicker, was instrumental in initiating the project and the school is sincerely grateful to everyone involved.
