Creston boffin Waheed scores a hat-trick

This is his third consecutive gold medal at the SA International Science Fair and his second consecutive Best Senior Renewable Energy Project award.

Waheed Amanjee (gr 11) earned his third consecutive gold medal at the SA ISF 38th Eskom Expo International Science Fair 2018 and scooped a second consecutive ‘Best Senior Renewable Energy Project’ award.

Cara Steyn and Braden Steyn received SANESA badges for making the National A Team at SANESA Nationals 2018.

Nabil Bejia won two gold and two bronze medals and won the 200m individual medley (IM) at the KZN Junior Champs Gala at Kings Park. George Annandale achieved his qualifying times and a bronze medal. Everraud Raynard won three silver medals at a recent KZN gala. Milla Drakopoulos took two silver medals at the KZN Junior Champs.

Kira Attfield-Fuchs bagged a bronze for ‘Freestyle Couples’ and the title of KZN Champ for Rock ’n Roll at the KZN Open Freestyle Dancing Championships.

She also surfed her way to a spot in the semi-finals and came fifth overall (U12 girls’ division) at the Sea Harvest South African Junior Surfing Championships in Jeffreys Bay.

Marimba bands will perform at the Southcoast Mall this Saturday, October 20, from 10 to 11am.
