Jai Hind’s grades R to 7 classes took part in the school’s annual fun walk last week. Under the watchful eye of teachers, officers from Protection Services and road marshalls, pupils set off on a walk through the surrounding neighbourhood.

Watering points kept everyone well hydrated and a commendable amount of money was raised. Funds will go towards updating office equipment. The community is thanked for their ongoing support.
Enthusiastic gr 5 pupils competed in a Maths 24 Challenge, coordinated by teacher Farzana Adat. They were tasked to use skills acquired from class lessons to solve problems.
The competition aims to instill a passion for mathematics. Congratulations to winners Makhosazana Mkhize, Okuhle Qwebani, Vuyelwa Phehlekwayo and Andiswa Ncane.
