Creston scoops a bronze award

The Eco-Schools programme is active in 67 countries around the world and has been implemented in SA by WESSA.

As a registered Eco-School, Creston College recently won an ‘Eco-Schools Bronze Decade’ award.

Eco-Schools is an international programme of the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), developed to support environmental learning in the classroom.

Gr 2 classes held a successful market day as part of their business skills programme.

The inaugural college phase inter-house triathlon took place recently.

In the individual race Kiera Booker (gr 11) came first, Nicholas Kalamoudacos (gr 11) placed second and Joshua Webber (gr 10) took third place. The team race was won by Eagle House.

Clinton Bezuidenhout (gr 11) was awarded a sponsorship from Federal-Mogul Motorparts for the 2019 VW Engen National Polo Cup Series.

Save the date: The school will host a ‘Carols by Candlelight’ evening on Saturday, December 1, at 5.30 for 6pm. Bring a picnic basket and a candle or torch.

Children may dress up as angels, kings or shepherds. There is no entry fee.
