At Creston Senior Primary’s prize-giving last week, gr 7 pupils Mishka Maharaj and Jyhdesh Naidoo shared the ‘Crestonian’ trophy.
Mishka also scooped the prestigious dux award, as well as the academic excellence award, presented to the pupil who maintains an average above 85 percent throughout all four years at Senior Primary.

Joanelle Herman (gr 10) walked off with the bronze standard of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award in 2017 and impressively achieved silver standard this year after completing a four-day trek in the Nepalese Himalayas.
The award is the world’s leading youth achievement award comprising three levels and four sections. Entrants have to complete all four sections at each level to achieve the award.
Interact pupils recently held a Christmas party for Rehoboth Children’s Village. They created 80 gift boxes for the children and played games, danced, swam and made new friends.
