Pupils shine at Izotsha Primary

Pupils were rewarded for consistent hard work throughout the year.

Award winners at Izotsha Primary are (from left) Byron Winrow (senior sportsman of the year), Chelsea Rieder (senior sportswoman of the year - shared), Bruce Bormann (Prestige - academic and sports combined), Nandi Mnyandu (senior sportswoman of the year - shared), Daisy Pybus (dux), Abigail Roberts (principal’s award - shared), Shayne de Vries (Good Fellowship award) and Guy Henderson (Principal’s Award: shared).

Izotsha Primary held its annual prize-giving awards for Foundation, Intermediate and Senior phases last Wednesday.

Both the junior and senior choirs put on a spectacular performance at the respective ceremonies.

Principal Neville Richards delivered speeches at both ceremonies.

Academic, sporting and prestigious all-round awards were handed out at the senior ceremony.

The school extends heartfelt apologies to Ahmed and Reezwanah Seedat, the parents of Uzair Seedat (gr 6) for omitting him from last week’s awards evening.

Izotsha Primary gr 6 pupil Uzair Seedat achieved an impressive 75 percent academic aggregate.

Uzair was rewarded for his hard work with a certificate for achieving an academic aggregate of 75 percent or above.
