Former air force members re-unite

The lunch, held at Cafe Munro, Margate Retirement Village last Sunday, was well attended.

Chairman of the Lower South Coast branch of the South African Air force Association (SAAFA) John Ralph kicked off the club’s annual lunch with the reading of the association’s aims and objectives.

The lunch, held at Cafe Munro, Margate Retirement Village last Sunday, was well attended.

Mr Ralph pointed out that members had a duty to keep the South Coast branch vibrant and alive, and encouraged them to keep the SAAFA flag flying high.

Once all the formalities were completed, great fellowship was enjoyed.

SAAFA is open to all former members of SAAFA, the RAF, and other allied air forces.
