School expansion a success for Scottburgh Primary

The school officially opened the doors to three new classrooms on Monday morning.

Scottburgh Primary School set a goal to expand its school and has achieved just that.

The school opened the doors to three new classrooms on Monday.

These will accommodate grade 5 pupils in the new year.  The classrooms will also be utilised by staff and pupils for other schooling purposes at a later stage.

“This expansion to our school has been our dream for a while and we have finally fulfilled it,” said principal Segran Naidoo.

The school hopes that when parents see the classrooms and the vision behind them, they will be willing to become more involved.

Jaya Pillay, chief education specialist district planning, congratulated the school on this successful project and commended all those who were part of it.
