Spreading Christmas cheer

There is so much going on this festive season.

Kerry Massey and her team from Pumula Crime Watch have done it again.

Every year, Kerry creates an exquisite Christmas display for the community, and this year is no exception.

Everyone is welcome to view this year’s festive exhibit on the corner of 2nd and 10th Avenue in Pumula.

It’s the perfect spot to take a family photograph or even a couple of selfies.

On Tuesday this week, residents from Reinhardt’s Place, a home in Pumula for people with multiple disabilities, joined the Herald for a photo shoot at the exhibit.

Anyone who would like to make a donation to the home can contact Elize Botha at 072 7379184.

Santa’s helpers, the volunteers from the Lower South Coast SPCA, will wrap your gifts at the Southcoast Mall in exchange for a donation.

The society’s annual Christmas gift wrapping service takes place until December 24.

A real family-friendly event, ‘Lights for Life’, takes place at the Southport Garden Centre daily between 6.30pm and 10pm until December 24.

Entrance is R10 per person with a portion of the entry fee going to Harmony Hill Rescue and to Trudie Roets for the work done with feral cats.

See the South Coast Herald for more details on fun and festive things to do this holiday season.
