A child was struck by a minibus taxi while crossing the R102 at Umkomaas on Monday afternoon this week.

According to Netcare 911, the boy (10) was treated on scene by an Emergency Care Practitioner before being airlifted to a specialist facility by the Netcare5 helicopter ambulance.
