#Matric2018: Port Shepstone High shines with 99.6 percent pass rate [WATCH]

The school's top 10 pupils have been praised for their excellent results.

Port Shepstone High is pleased with the performance of its 2018 National Senior Certificate candidates who achieved a 99.6 percent pass rate.

A total of 240 candidates wrote, 79.5 percent achieved a bachelors pass, 16.3 percent diploma pass and 42 percent a higher certificate pass.

2018 Dux pupil, Ashmi Lautan was the top achiever with seven As plus an A for AP mathematics.

The top 10 achievers, listed in alphabetical order are:
