#Matric2018: Port Shepstone Islamic celebrates perfect pass rate

The school acknowledges the effort of the pupils, teachers and parents.

Port Shepstone Islamic School has once again produced a 100 percent academic matric pass rate with their class of 2018.

Four pupils notched up seven As and distinction aggregates.

Zaeem Faizel Ebrahim achieved 90.4 percent, close on his heels was Mariam Nakooda with 90.1 percent, Yusuf Paruk breezed through with 88 percent and Barira Mohamed Khan followed with 84 percent.

Other top achievers included Faatimah Hassan Musa with four As, Nasmeera Abdullah Mohammed with three As and Juwairiyah Limalia and Humairah Khan with two As.

The school board of governors recognises the effort of the pupils, the dedication of the teachers and support of parents who worked together to achieve this milestone.

Top achievers will be acknowledged at a special awards function this Friday, January 11.
