Something fishy going on in Preston

Why and how these fish ended up there is still unknown.

On January 4, Preston local, Donavan Reddy, came across a rather unusual sight. He stumbled upon several dead fish of about two to three inches long lying on the sand at Preston beach.

Through research and thanks to the Oceanographic Research Institute, it was discovered that these were actually newly hatched Natal sea catfish. These types of fish produce eggs that are smaller than a marble and are the Oceanographic Research Institute. Why and how these fish ended up there is still unknown.
