Southcity Christian College held their annual inter-house gala last Wednesday.
The event was won by Judah House, who also won the tabloids and relay trophies. Asher House was awarded the house spirit trophy.

Jeandré Joubert (four records) and Suné de Wit (three records) walked off senior victor and victrix ludorum and Matthew Bircher and Scarlet Scorer (two records) won the junior titles.
At last Tuesday’s academics awards assembly, five pupils were awarded honours for 2018.
McKayla du Bruyn (second, gr 10), Jeandre Joubert (third, gr 10), Sarah-Joy Pringle (first, gr 10), Joshua Pretorius (first, gr 11) and Tamara Venter (second, gr 11).
Grades 8 and 9 certificates of excellence went to Bianca du Plessis (first, gr 8), Erin Grobler (first, gr 9) and Emily Peckham (second, gr 9).
