
Don’t get caught unawares at the toll gate on March 1, when the South African National Roads Agency (Sanral) will be increasing toll fees.
Sanral said that the toll tariffs on national roads were adjusted in line with the Consumer Price Index and that the Minster of Transport approved the tariffs. The adjustments were gazetted and published on February 1.

The new N2 KZN South Coast fees for class one vehicles (light cars) are as follows; Umtentweni ramp will increase to R12.50, Oribi mainline R29,50, ramp (S) R13.50, ramp (N) R16 and R9.50 for the Izotsha ramp.
For class two vehicles, Umtentweni ramp will increase to R22, Oribi mainline R53, ramp (S) R25, ramp (N) R28, and R17 for Izotsha.
Class three vehicles; Umtentweni ramp will cost R31, Oribi mainline R73, ramp (S) R34, ramp (N) R39, and R23 for Izotsha.
For class four vehicles the Umtentweni ramp goes up to R50, Oribi mainline R118, ramp (S) R53, ramp (N) R73, and R39 for Izotsha.
