Help to clean-up Sandspit this Saturday

It will also be a fantastic family fun day, with a bring and braai, kayaking and beach games.

The Umtentweni Conservancy is organising a clean-up at the Sandspit in Port Shepstone this Saturday, February 9, from 9am.

It promises to be a fantastic family fun day, with a bring and braai, kayaking and beach games.

The area is in a terrible mess so many hands will be needed to clean it.

Liz Willey of the Tweni Conservancy said two skips have been provided by Clive Berry and they have received 200 bags from the municipality, which they will collect on Monday.

People need to bring their own gloves, and if they want to stay and braai and join in the fun, then bring sunscreen, cooler boxes, braai food, chairs and even beach umbrellas for some shade.
