Ahoy there matey – hoist those sails!

THE Umdoni Model Boat Club has been operating for four years and has provided many hours of pleasurable sailing for its members.

Club members meet every Wednesday and Saturday morning from 9.30am until midday – weather permitting.

The club will be holding an open day on Saturday, February 23 and invites everyone to come along and try their hand at sailing or as a day out. Bring camping chairs and if you have any model boats, bring them along as well.

Direction to the event: Take the turn-off at the new Doghouse Restaurant on the R102. The dam is on the grounds.
