Southcity Christian School’s college swimming team competed at an individual gala at Curro Hillcrest last Wednesday.
Ten schools took part and Southcity placed second overall – a brilliant result and the school is extremely proud of the team.

College swimmers competed at a gala at Reddam Umhlanga with seven other schools and came third overall. Well done.
The 1st and 2nd cricket teams played St Henry’s Marist College last Saturday.
The 2nd team won by 11 runs (Tyrone Fisher 58 not out, off 44 balls, and Josh Pretorius bowled six overs for 14 runs and took five wickets).
The 1st team lost by four wickets (Gareth Pieterse – 31 runs, Michael Clifton – 34 runs, Nevada Uys bowled four overs for 15 runs with three wickets).
Congratulations to the 11 cricketers comprising two U15, six U17/U19 and three non-travelling reserves who were selected for SKZN cricket sides.
