Fires are lit at 6pm all you need is something to cook - salads are on offer at R30 and there is a cash bar.
IF it’s the last Friday of the month it is time to be sociable and quizzical. The Ramsgate Lions Clubs invites everyone to come along to the monthly braai held at the clubhouse in Glenmarkie Road (the old Ramsgate Bowling Club) next Friday (22nd). Fires are lit at 6pm all you need is something to cook – salads are on offer at R30 and there is a cash bar.

It is a good place to meet new people and enjoy an evening of socialising. After everyone has eaten it is time to put on those thinking caps and take part in the quiz. Teams of four compete for prizes – but best of all you get to test your brain power.
For more information contact Lion Rob Henry at 083 3444696.
Save the date
A new community pop-up market will be held in Ramsgate – outside the Artists’ Gallery in Marine Drive – on the first Saturday of each month.
Diarise March 2 and go along to the market which offers pre-loved clothing, upcycled and recycled goods as well as a good range or artisanal and organic food.
If you would like to find out more about the market call Taryn at 076 0787189.
