Sappi recognises top achievers at Sidelile High
All the gifts from the company will prove useful to the matriculants as they move to different tertiary institutions around the country.
THE matriculants from the class of 2018 at Sidelile High School in Magabheni excelled in their year-end examinations with the school achieving a 94 percent pass rate. The school also attained several notable achievements in the Umlazi district and in the province of KwaZulu-Natal.

The principal, Clive Thomas, appreciates the dedication of the learners and the teaching staff and noted that the school had achieved steady improvement over the years. He thanked Sappi for its support and donations to the school since 1990.
Representatives of the Sappi management team led by Michael Mthethwa and Catherine Shuttleworth, Inkosi Phathisizwe Luthuli, councillor Buyisile Gumede, chief education specialist Nomali Magwaza and other community leaders recently visited the school to celebrate the top ten achievers and to encourage the 2019 class of grade 12s to work hard towards their own success. Some of the gifts brought by Sappi included tablets, backpacks, USBs, gift vouchers and Sappi corporate items. All the gifts will prove useful to the matriculants as they move to different tertiary institutions around the country.
