School sports to be discussed at indaba

There is much concern as to the current state of school sport in the country especially in public schools serving marginalised and disadvantaged communities.

An invitation is extended to all former Natal high schools sporting administrators and former Natal school caps in all codes of sport from the 1970s /1980s and 1990s to attend a get-together/Indaba to  at Durban Girls’ Secondary School (opposite Greyville racecourse) on Saturday, March 2 at 8am.

As a former non-racial sports body which merged under the USSASA banner all sporting administrators, current school structures and sporting organisations, sporting caps (past and present) are invited to the get-together and engage on the state of school sports in South Africa and debate on issues affecting school sport after 24 years of democracy.

There is much concern as to the current state of school sport in the country especially in public schools serving marginalised and disadvantaged communities.
