Port Shepstone Islamic School sincerely thanks St Martin de Porres for the use of their swimming pool last Wednesday. Jenna Baxter was crowned ‘star swimmer’ at the internal swimming gala. Well done to all swimmers who took part.

Pupils engaged in a Quranic Recital programme which terminated with a talk and collective prayer by Mufti Suhail Kadwa last week.
Bilal Jeewa of Jamiatul Ulama KZN Project ‘H.E.L.P’ visited the school to receive 573 cans of foods collected by pupils for the ‘Collect a Can’ campaign.
Moulana Imtiaz Kathrada visited the school last Friday to address increasingly alarming factors affecting the youth.
The internal speech contest will be held tonight (21st) in the school hall. Pupils from grades 4 to 7 will deliver speeches and presentations.
A Strategic Planning Workshop will be held for teachers at the school this Saturday.
