PSSP welcomes generous donation

The insightful, humorous play took the form of a giant jigsaw puzzle which proved that although people differ, together they form a perfect picture.

PSSP once again welcomed a donation of 36 books from the Sookdhev family, who has previously donated books to the school’s media centre. Books carry a wealth of information and are always very useful for research and to promote reading.

Well-known psychologist Dominique Mamet addressed pupils on the issue of bullying at assembly last Friday. A presentation highlighted points to identify bullies and provided advice for victims.

Pupils recently watched a play entitled ‘The Puzzle’ staged by educational theatre company Productions 2000. The central message was about living with and learning from each other. Well done to pupils who joined the cast on stage as part of the show.

Pupils (from left) Jade Hopley, Savir Ghingai, Samkeliswe Nsusha and Ezekiel Ullbricht thanked psychologist Dominique Mamet for visiting PSSP last Friday to present a talk on bullying.

Suid-Natal Primary proved too strong for PSSP’s U13A team at last Tuesday’s cricket match. SNP batted first, reaching 146 runs for the loss of 0 wickets and PSSP tried hard, but only managed to score 93 runs all out.

Volleyball teams played well at the tournament held at Marburg Sports Grounds last Saturday. Both the boys’ and girls’ teams put on a strong performance, but narrowly lost.
