Scouts to mark founder Robert Baden-Powell’s birthday

The Amavulandlela Ogu Scout Club will celebrate ‘BP Sunday’ to commemorate the birth date of Lord Robert Baden-Powell who was born on February 22, 1857.

Lord Baden-Powell was a former British army officer, writer, founder and first chief scout of the worldwide Boy Scout movement.

The local Amavulandlela Ogu Scout Club is holding this special event at the Port Shepstone Presbyterian Church this Sunday, February 24 from 9am to 11am.

All scouts and friends of scouts are invited to attend.
