‘Extremely hot conditions predicted, stay out of the sun and stay hydrated,’ says #WeatherReport

THE South African Weather Service has this morning issued a special weather advisory warning against hot and humid weather.

“This weather will result in extremely uncomfortable conditions along the coastal areas of KZN and adjacent interior today,” stated the advisory notice.

Meanwhile, KwaZulu-Natal Emergency Medical Services spokesperson, Rob Mckenzie has warned of excess temperatures and advised people to stay out of the sun.

It was further advised that adults should on average consume two litres of water per day in order to stay hydrated.

Parents were also advised to ensure their children have enough fluids with them to consume during the day.
