Umzumbe Municipality employee is missing
His vehicle was found on the side of the road in the Umbumbulu area on the night of his disappearance.
It’s been five days since the Ngcobo family from Cabhane village near Mtwalume last had a proper night’s rest.
The family says they can barely sleep as they are so worried about their missing son and father of nine.

Mlungisi Patrick Ngcobo (32), a technician at Umzumbe Municipality, was last seen on Saturday when he left home to visit relatives in the Sihlonyaneni area in Mthwalume.
Port Shepstone SAPS spokesman Captain Petros Mpinge confirmed that a missing persons case had been opened.
According to Capt Mpinge, Mr Ngcobo’s vehicle was found on the side of the road in the Umbumbulu area on the night of his disappearance.
The vehicle was taken to Hibberdene SAPS for investigation.
Mr Ngcobo’s father, a pensioner, said they were very disturbed when their son did not return home on Saturday night.
“We just need a sign, something to let us know where he is.”
Mr Ngcobo is the family’s breadwinner and has been described as a very quiet guy who kept to himself most of the time.
Umzumbe Municipality spokesman Sabelo Ncwane confirmed that Mr Ngcobo, who works for the planning unit under the office of the municipal manager, had not been at work since Monday.
“Our prayers are with his family,” he added.
