Audi Centre, Margate ‘drives’ blood donation
The drive raised awareness of the need for regular blood donations to ensure the quality, safety and availability of blood and blood products for patients in need.
The South African National Blood Service (Sanbs) recently sent out an urgent appeal for all South Africans to donate blood. Audi Centre in Margate heeded the call to action and held a blood drive in their showroom on Monday this week.

The drive raised awareness of the need for regular blood donations to ensure the quality, safety and availability of blood and blood products for patients in need.
“The transfusion of blood helps save millions of lives every year. It can help patients suffering from life-threatening conditions live longer with a higher quality of life and supports complex medical and surgical procedures,” said Nqobile Shoba of Sanbs.
